Closing documents generated from the loan, not retyped into it.
Every time a document is rebuilt by hand, a number can drift. PML generates loan documents from the loan record, so the note, the mortgage, and the payoff all say the same thing.
What PML generates
From a loan record, PML generates the documents a private loan needs, individually or as a full closing package.
- Promissory notes
- Mortgages
- Personal guaranties
- Terms sheets
- Payoff statements
- Full closing packages
How it works
You fill in the loan once: borrower, entity, property, amount, rate, default terms, maturity. When it's time to close, you generate the package from that record. If a term changes before closing, you change it on the loan and generate again — there's no stack of Word files to hunt through.
Documents are ready to send to the borrower and the title company. Your attorney's language and your state's requirements still matter; PML's job is to fill your documents with the right numbers every time.
Payoff statements that match the ledger
Payoff statements come from the same interest engine that services the loan. Principal, accrued interest through the good-through date, default interest, late fees, and any payoff wire fee are pulled from the loan, so the statement ties out to the dollar.
When a borrower requests a payoff in their portal, you generate the statement from the request and send it to the title company from the same screen.
Fewer versions, fewer mistakes
Because every document reads from the same loan record, you don't end up with a note that says one rate and a terms sheet that says another. When you change a term before closing, regenerate and every document picks up the change. It's a simple idea that removes one of the most common sources of closing-day errors for private lenders.
Loan documents: common questions.
- What loan documents can PML generate?
- Promissory notes, mortgages, personal guaranties, terms sheets, payoff statements, and full closing packages.
- Are payoff statements calculated automatically?
- Yes. Payoff statements are built from the loan's servicing records — principal, accrued interest, default interest, late fees, and payoff wire fee.
- Is PML a substitute for a lawyer?
- No. PML generates documents from your loan data. Have your attorney review your document language and state requirements.
